Cardi B Pushes Judge To Add More Violations Against Blogger Tasha K In Bankruptey Case
Cardi B isn’t playing when it comes to blogger #TashaK.
According to a new supplemental sanctions brief filed in Tasha K’s bankruptcy case and obtained by DocumentTingz, Cardi’s legal team claims Tasha violated their non-disparagement agreement with fresh social media posts earlier this month. The issue reportedly stems from a shoutout Tasha gave to fellow blogger #MilagroGramz, real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, after a separate court ruling. But Cardi’s side argues the post went beyond congratulations, with Tasha allegedly suggesting she isn’t fully restricted from speaking about Cardi and could revisit the topic later. Cardi’s lawyers say even indirect mentions violate the agreement, which bars her from discussing the rapper in any form.
#Cardi’s team also accuses Tasha of twisting the narrative for her audience. The filing says she tried comparing her situation to Milagro’s court battle with Megan Thee Stallion, despite her restrictions coming from a bankruptcy plan she agreed to and not a court gag order. The filing reads, “The Non-Disparagement Clause (which she now tells her fans that she is not subject to ‘contrary to what I said earlier’) is not a government-imposed speech restriction; it is a contractual obligation Debtor made to this Court and to [Cardi]. The First Amendment does not shield a party from the consequences of her own contractual commitments.”
On top of that, #CardiB’s lawyers say Tasha has downplayed the original defamation case and misled followers about what she was actually found liable for. The filing also claims she’s missed required payments and paperwork tied to her bankruptcy plan, pointing to what Cardi’s team calls a broader pattern of noncompliance. Cardi is now asking the court to accept the new filing, add the latest incident to the record of violations, grant her prior requests, and issue any further relief the judge deems appropriate.
