The former NBA star is stepping into a major leadership role in college basketball, as he has been named president of basketball operations at #HowardUniversity. The move brings five-time NBA All-Star Wall back to Washington, D.C., where he became a franchise cornerstone during his nine-season run with the Wizards after being selected No. 1 overall in the 2010 NBA Draft out of Kentucky.
In this new position, Wall will help guide the overall direction of Howard’s men’s basketball program, collaborating with head coach Kenny Blakeney and other program leaders as the Bison continue building on recent success.
