“RHOA” Alum Lisa Wu Responds To Allegations She Helped Defraud Former Friend Out Of Property: I’ve Built My Career & Reputation
With Integrity
Lisa Wu is pushing back after a former friend accused her of being involved in an alleged home fraud scheme.
Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Lisa Wu has denied allegations of theft by deception after a police report was filed in DeKalb County, Georgia.
According to TMZ, the report names Norma Denise Mitchem as the alleged victim in connection to a November 2025 dispute involving a home. Mitchem’s nephew reportedly told police that Wu and her boyfriend, Donald Jacob, were involved in an alleged scheme tied to the property. He claimed Wu helped Mitchem acquire the home through an LLC and was expected to transfer the deed back once a lien issue was resolved.
Wu strongly denied any wrongdoing, telling TMZ, “For more than 30 years, I’ve built my career and reputation with integrity, professionalism, and hard work. I have absolutely no involvement in fraudulent activity of any kind, and the idea that I would be implicated simply because of people I know or professional relationships is preposterous.”
Wu claims Mitchem could not qualify for the home herself, so she helped her purchase it. She alleges Mitchem later stopped making payments after Wu refused to put the property in her son’s name.
Mitchem disputes Wu’s version, reportedly claiming Wu bought the home before allegedly trying to sell it back at a higher price.
