‘Love Is Blind’ Stars Chelsea Griffin & Kwame Appiah Announce Split After 4 Years Of Marriage: We Were Growing In Different Directions’

“Love Is Blind” stars Chelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah are closing the chapter on their marriage after four years together.

The season 4 couple announced their split in a joint Instagram post on Thursday, May 15, revealing they are “going separate ways” after realizing their futures no longer aligned.

“Last week would have marked our fourth wedding anniversary,” Chelsea wrote. “It’s heartbreaking to share that our marriage is coming to an end.”

She added that the breakup was “not the outcome I hoped for,” noting she entered the relationship with “deep love, commitment, and the intention of building a lasting life together.”

The statement also noted, “We were growing in different directions.”

Chelsea shared, “While this chapter is deeply painful, I trust that healing and clarity will come with time.”

Kwame shared a separate message, saying their “ultimate life goals don’t feel aligned.”

“This isn’t something either of us ever imagined,” he wrote.

The announcement comes weeks after the pair shut down breakup rumors online. Chelsea and Kwame met during season 4 of Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” and married in the finale.
