“Grey’s Anatomy” Texas Spinoff In The Works
Ready for the #GreysAnatomy universe to expand once again?
According to Deadline, ABC has officially handed a straight-to-series order to an untitled spinoff medical drama set in Texas. The series is co-created, written, and executive produced by #ShondaRhimes, with current Grey’s Anatomy showrunner Meg Marinis also on board as an executive producer. Fan-favorite star #EllenPompeo is attached as an executive producer as well.
The new show is being described as an edgy drama centered around a rural medical center in West Texas, with a midseason 2027 premiere already on the horizon. Once it lands, it will mark the fourth series in the ever-growing Grey’s Anatomy franchise.
