Saweetie Hit w/ $3 Million Lawsuit After Promoter Claims She Took Japan Concert Deposit & Performed Elsewhere

Saweetie is facing legal action from a concert promoter claiming the rapper failed to honor a performance agreement tied to multiple shows in Japan.

According to TMZ, Moon Dream Production has filed a lawsuit against Saweetie and Icy Grl Touring, accusing them of fraud and breach of contract. The company claims the “Icy Girl” rapper agreed to perform four concerts in Japan between July 18 and July 26, 2025, for a total fee of $200,000.

Court documents reportedly state that Saweetie received a $100,000 deposit before the scheduled performances. However, Moon Dream alleges she did not appear for the contracted shows.

The promoter further claims Saweetie and her team “utilized all the visa services facilitated by” the company, which allegedly allowed her to enter Japan before she “proceeded to perform at different venues for other vendors on the same dates she was contractually bound to perform” for Moon Dream.

Moon Dream says Saweetie and her team have refused to return the $100,000 deposit. The company also claims it lost $100,000 in merchandise and promotional expenses, spent $200,000 on venue costs, and expected to earn $400,000 in profits from the concerts.

The lawsuit is seeking more than $3 million in punitive damages.
