Former Cowboys Star Dez Bryant Puts Boxer Alycia Baumgardner On Blast For “Provoking” Claressa Shields Before Slap Incident

The former Dallas Cowboys star didn’t hold back, claiming #AlyciaBaumgardner isn’t as innocent as some may think in her ongoing drama with Claressa. According to Dez, Alycia is a “hypocrite” and an “overgrown child” who has been “provoking” Claressa for quite some time. His comments come after Claressa was banned from future MVP events for allegedly slapping Alycia backstage during a heated verbal exchange.

Since then, both fighters have spoken out. Alycia revealed she’s considering legal action, while Claressa stated, “I do not condone violence. … But I am also not someone who will stand in silence while continuously being verbally attacked, threatened [and] discriminated against.” Doubling down, Dez took one final jab at Alycia, adding, “You are the furthest thing from pushing women’s combat sports forward.” (SWIPE)
