The Married to Medicine star remained in high spirits as she addressed her second-place finish in the Georgia House District 13 race. Alongside a video, Dr. Heavenly shared a statement that read, in part, “We made history. And no matter what, I am so proud of what we built together. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everybody that believed in me, prayed for me, donated, volunteered, canvassed, texted, called voters, put up signs, and stood beside me through this journey.”
In the video, she also congratulated Dr. Jasmine Clark on winning the Democratic primary, adding, “I want to make sure that we all stand together behind Jasmine Clark because we cannot let a Republican win.
