Sports Commentator Joy Taylor Says Ab*rtions Would Be Available At A ‘Drive-Thru’ If Men Could Get Pregnant
Joy Taylor is sparking conversation after sharing her blunt thoughts on pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive rights.
During a recent episode of her “Two Personal Show,” the sportscaster argued that society often downplays the physical and emotional toll of pregnancy while expecting women to simply accept it.
Taylor pushed back on the idea that pregnancy is “this thing that everyone can do, and everyone should just embrace it, and it’s easy, and you figure it out, and you owe it to society to make children. Like, get the f*ck out of here.”
Although Taylor said she is not a mother and has never been pregnant, she emphasized that she still understands the weight of motherhood.
“I know how hard it is to [be a mom] because I have eyeballs,” she said. “Because I have the ability to see someone else experience something and be able to apply what that experience would be for my life. I respect those struggles, and that is why I hold it in such a high regard.”
Taylor then claimed reproductive healthcare would look drastically different if men could also carry children.
“If men could get pregnant, you could get an ab*rtion at a drive-thru,” she said, adding that childbirth advancements would be “light years beyond” where they are now.
