Lil Meech Hints Why He Won’t Stream: “I’m Trying To Get Movies Like Michael B. Jordan”
Lil Meech is making it clear that streaming isn’t part of his career game plan.
During a recent appearance with streamer DeenTheGreat, the BMF actor explained why fans likely won’t see him launching his own livestreams anytime soon. According to Meech, the risks that come with being live online outweigh the potential benefits, especially as he focuses on building his acting career.
“I’m trying to get movies like Michael B. Jordan,” Meech said, explaining that he views streaming as a potential liability to his image.
The actor suggested that one wrong comment, controversial moment, or viral clip could be enough to make a filmmaker or studio think twice about casting someone in a project. Rather than putting himself in that position, Meech said he prefers to keep his focus on acting and expanding his opportunities in Hollywood.
While livestreaming has become a lucrative business for many influencers, athletes, and entertainers, Meech appears to believe the constant exposure comes with added scrutiny that could complicate his long-term goals.
For now, it seems the son of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory is keeping his eyes on the big screen, pointing to Michael B. Jordan’s career as the type of path he hopes to follow.
Do you agree with Lil Meech’s stance, or do you think actors can successfully balance streaming and Hollywood careers?
