Karmelo Anthony’s Mugshot Released After 35-Year Sentence In Fatal St@bbing Of Austin Metcalf – Reportedly Being Kept Away From Other Inmates
The mugshot of #KarmeloAnthony has been released following his m*rder conviction, and the 19-year-old is not being held with the general jail population.
A spokesperson for Collin County Jail — where Anthony is currently housed — confirmed to TMZ that he is being kept in a more secure, isolated area of the facility, separated from other inmates. While jail officials stated they are taking appropriate steps to ensure the safety of everyone in the facility, the rep declined to explain why Anthony specifically is being kept in isolation.
Anthony was found guilty of fatally st@bbing fellow teenager #AustinMetcalf during a 2025 dispute at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas. Following the conviction, he was sentenced to 35 years in prison. Anthony will eventually be transferred to a state prison facility to begin serving that sentence, but for now remains isolated in county lockup.
