Michael Blackson Agrees To Pay $4,500 A Month In Child Support For Son With Nadia Beddini
Michael Blackson has reached a child support and custody agreement with Nadia Beddini, the mother of his young son.
According to TMZ, the comedian agreed to pay Beddini $4,500 per month in child support for their son, Kweku, who is nearing his first birthday. Blackson will also cover $5,000 of Beddini’s legal fees as part of the settlement.
The agreement reportedly resolves the custody dispute between the former couple. Under the terms, Blackson and Beddini will share joint legal and physical custody, allowing both parents to participate in major decisions involving their son’s health, education and overall well-being.
The settlement also includes travel provisions. Court documents reportedly state that Blackson cannot take Kweku outside of the United States without Beddini’s written permission. Beddini, however, may travel internationally with the child as long as she provides Blackson with advance notice and an itinerary.
The news comes less than a year after the couple welcomed Kweku. Reportedly, the child was born just months apart from another son Blackson welcomed with ex-fiancée Rada Darling, making headlines at the time for the unusual timing of the births.
