Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith appear to have quietly taken another step in their relationship.

According to PEOPLE, Jada moved back in with Will about two years ago after the couple spent years living separately. A source told the outlet the pair “are happy and love each other” and remain committed to supporting one another.

The update comes after Jada revealed in 2023 that she and Will had actually been separated since 2016, despite remaining legally married and continuing to appear together publicly. At the time, she said they had no plans to divorce and were still working through what their relationship would look like.

Most recently, the couple has been spotted together at several family events, including supporting their son Jaden Smith during Paris Fashion Week and celebrating the Fourth of July in Philadelphia, according to PEOPLE’s source.
