Pooh Shiesty’s Final Bond Attempt Fails As Judge Orders Him To Remain Locked Up Until Gucci Mane K*dnapping Trial

Pooh Shiesty will remain behind bars after a federal judge rejected his latest attempt to secure bond ahead of his k*dnapping and robbery trial.

Judge David C. Godbey denied the rapper’s request Tuesday to reconsider an earlier ruling that blocked his release to home confinement. Shiesty’s attorneys had proposed strict conditions, including routine dr*g testing, limited travel, round-the-clock GPS monitoring, and no contact with co-defendants or alleged victims.

The decision leaves Shiesty detained while several people tied to the case have been released. Co-defendant rapper Big30 left jail in June, while Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr., and his alleged “right-hand man,” Kedarius Waters, are also out on bond.

Prosecutors claim Shiesty arranged a January meeting with Gucci Mane at a Dallas recording studio, then allegedly pulled a “Draco” AK-style pistol after Gucci refused to release him from a contract. Authorities say Gucci was forced to sign paperwork and robbed of jewelry and cash.

Trial begins February 22, 2027.

Are you disappointed that Pooh Shiesty isn’t getting out?
