Wiz Khalifa Says He’s Officially Part Of The Running Community, Calls Out ‘Snobbery’ Over His Smoking Habit
Wiz Khalifa says he’s embracing a new passion, but not everyone has welcomed him with open arms.
In a recent social media video, the rapper shared that he’s officially become part of the running community after consistently hitting the pavement. While he said many runners have been supportive, he’s also noticed what he described as a bit of “snobbery” from some people because he’s open about being a smoker.
According to Wiz, some runners seem to assume that smoking automatically means someone can’t be healthy or physically fit. He pushed back on that idea, arguing that there are smokers who regularly run and maintain good health.
The rapper made it clear that he isn’t letting the criticism slow him down, saying he’ll continue running whether people approve of his lifestyle or not. His comments have since sparked debate online, with some agreeing that fitness looks different for everyone, while others questioned whether smoking and long-distance running can truly go hand in hand.
