DDG Gets Blunt About Paying His Team After Photographer Quits: ‘No Cameraman Will Ever Make As Much Money As The N*gga They’re Filming

DDG is making it clear that he believes the person behind the camera should never expect to earn the same money as the person creating the brand.

The rapper and streamer recently went off while addressing complaints about cameraman pay, saying, “No cameraman will ever make as much money as the n*gga they’re filming.

DDG compared the situation to working for a major company, arguing that employees should not expect to make the same amount as the owner. His comments come as his streaming operation has gone through several cameraman changes, with some former crew members leaving to pursue their own content careers.

One of DDG’s most recognizable cameramen, Johnny, previously stepped away to focus on streaming before later returning. Another cameraman, Edmund, also left to pursue content creation.

The conversation comes as cameramen have become increasingly visible in livestream culture, sometimes building their own audiences while working alongside major creators.

DDG has also been vocal about how lucrative streaming has become for him. He previously said he made more in 30 days on Twitch than he received from his record deal.

Still, there is no verified evidence that any cameraman demanded to make as much as DDG.
