Tyrese Asks Fans To Pray For Him, Says He Feels Like He’s ‘About To Lose My Mind’
Tyrese is asking his supporters for something he says he desperately needs right now: prayer.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the singer and actor admitted he’s feeling overwhelmed and at his breaking point, writing, “Stretch your hands out please and pray for me. I really feel discouraged and feel like I’m about to lose my mind.”
Tyrese went on to explain that while many people see the public version of his life, he’s been quietly dealing with intense personal struggles. He said he’s been “overwhelmed, deeply stressed and being pushed to my limits,” adding that the pressure has been affecting him “mentally, emotionally, psychologically and financially.”
“I have an extremely high tolerance for pain,” he wrote. “Most of the time, I smile my way through whatever I’m carrying… But right now, I’m empty. I’m depleted. My soul is tired.”
Although he emphasized that he isn’t asking for money or material help, Tyrese said he needs “prayer, covering, love, positive energy and genuine support.” He ended his message by encouraging anyone silently struggling to receive the prayers shared in the comments, writing that he hopes they “bless your mental health and strengthen your family too.” Let’s send some prayers up for Tyrese.
