Brandy & Daughter Syrai Smith Reprise Their Roles As Sisters In Sequel To Lifetime’s “Christmas Everyday”

#Brandy and her daughter, Sy’rai Smith, are bringing their talents together once again!

The mother-daughter duo is reprising their sister roles for the follow-up to #Lifetime’s “Christmas Everyday,” PEOPLE first revealed. The sequel, currently titled “Christmas Everyday Again,” is part of Lifetime’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday lineup and is set to debut later this year. Brandy is stepping back into the role of Chicago fashion designer Fancy Ballantine, while Sy’rai is returning as her sister, Belle.

“I’m so excited to step back into Fancy’s world,” Brandy said in a statement, adding that making the first film was special and she’s thrilled fans get to continue the story. The cast will also bring back Kajuana S. Marie, Journey Carter, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, and Lamman Rucker in their previous roles, with Gregory Alan Williams joining the cast as newcomer Earl.
