‘The Blind Side’ Star Quinton Aaron Says He Hasn’t Spoken To Ex Since Learning She Was Still Married To Another Man: “I Don’t Need To Speak To Her Ever Again”

Quinton Aaron says he’s completely done with the woman he believed was his wife after making a shocking discovery while fighting for his life.

The Blind Side star married Margarita DeLeon in December 2024, but after suffering a spinal stroke and falling into a four-day coma in January, Aaron learned DeLeon was still legally married to another man. Records reportedly showed she remained married to her estranged husband, Eric Guzman, whom she wed in 1992. Aaron says DeLeon had repeatedly told him she had been divorced for more than 10 years. Their marriage was ultimately voided.

Aaron now says he hasn’t spoken to DeLeon since his hospitalization and has no plans to change that.

There were times I remember seeing her in the room, but I was in and out of consciousness, and I didn’t speak to her because I was intubated. I don’t need to speak to her ever again.”

Aaron also revealed their relationship was already struggling before his medical emergency, saying they weren’t “in a good space” and he had been praying for God to remove her from his life. DeLeon previously said she wasn’t aware her earlier divorce had never been finalized.

As Aaron continues recovering from the spinal stroke, which left him unable to use his legs, the actor says he’s “absolutely” ready to move forward. He added, “God has blessed me with a second chance to do it the right way. I’m gonna leave him in charge of the love department.”
