Jamie Foxx Announces New Comedy Special ‘Take Care Of Yourself,’ Premiering Oct. 7 On Hulu

Jamie Foxx has announced a new comedy special, “Take Care of Yourself,” premiering Oct. 7 on Hulu.

In a social media post, the actor, singer and comedian revealed that the special was filmed in Oakland and will blend comedy with some of the other elements fans have come to expect from his performances.

“I went back to Oakland!!!” Foxx wrote. “Whenever you’re in Oakland for business what type of business do you do?… TOWN BUSINESS!!!” He added that the upcoming special will feature “jokes… stories… music,” teasing, “you know I always put some extras on it!!!”

Foxx also revealed that his daughter, Anelise Foxx, will make an appearance. “My daughter pops out @anelisefoxx grabs a guitar and does her thing!!!” he shared before announcing the title and release date.
