Knicks Star Jalen Brunson Lands ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Guest Role After Joking He Wanted To Be On The Show

New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson is taking his talents from Madison Square Garden to primetime television with an upcoming guest appearance on “Law & Order: SVU.”

Brunson is set to appear in the fifth episode of the new season, which is scheduled to air November 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Details surrounding his character are being kept under wraps, leaving fans to guess what role the NBA champion will play in the long-running crime drama.

The appearance comes as Brunson has developed a close friendship with “SVU” star and executive producer Mariska Hargitay, a longtime Knicks supporter.

Brunson may have actually spoken the role into existence months earlier. After the Knicks captured their first NBA Championship in 53 years in June, the point guard was asked about his offseason plans.

He joked that he would “try to get on ‘SVU.’”

Now, Brunson is officially making that plan happen with his television cameo.
