Lucky Daye Reveals He Walked Out On A Date Without Paying After Woman Triggered His Pet Peeve

Lucky Daye is opening up about a date that apparently went left pretty quickly.

During a conversation with Fadam Got Da Juice, the Grammy-winning R&B singer recalled being out with a woman when she intentionally did something he had already told her was a major pet peeve of his. According to Lucky, her decision to do it anyway immediately changed the way he viewed the situation.

He explained that the behavior bothered him so much that he decided to leave the date altogether, saying,

“I gotta go.”

Lucky said he walked out without paying the bill and left his date to figure out how she was getting home. For him, the issue was bigger than the pet peeve itself — he felt that knowingly doing something he had just expressed bothered him showed a lack of respect.

The “Over” singer also described just how uncomfortable the moment made him, revealing that he was digging into the skin on his knee as he tried to deal with it. Ultimately, Lucky said he needed to remove himself from the situation and “shake it off.”
