Too $hort Apologizes After Backlash Over Saying He’d Attend Diddy’s Welcome-Home Party
Too $hort is apologizing after receiving backlash over his recent comments about Sean “Diddy” Combs.
As previously reported, the rapper said during an appearance on “The TMZ Podcast” that he wasn’t turning his back on Diddy and planned to attend his welcome-home celebration following his eventual release from federal prison.
“I’m going to the Puff Daddy coming home party.”
Too $hort has now addressed the criticism, admitting that he wasn’t fully aware of the extent of the abuse allegations surrounding Diddy when he made the comments.
“I was a little insensitive with my words.”
He continued, explaining that while he knew about the surveillance footage showing Diddy assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, he hadn’t realized how many other women had accused the music mogul of abuse. Too $hort said he has since read more about the allegations and become better informed.
