Kim Kardashian Reveals She Has 5 Nannies For Her 4 Children w/ Kanye West, Says She Still Handles School Drop-Offs & Family Dinners

Kim Kardashian is opening up about the amount of help she has while raising her four children.

The 45-year-old reality star and SKIMS founder revealed that she employs five nannies to help care for North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West. According to Kardashian, one nanny is on duty at a time, while the other four are part of the rotation.

Despite having a team of nannies, Kardashian says she remains heavily involved in her children’s everyday routines. She reportedly takes them to and from school and makes sure the family sits down for dinner together every night. Describing her parenting style, she said,

“I think I am an intermediate-strict parent. I’m extremely patient and loving. I still have a kid sleep in my bed when they want. I read books with the kids every night.”

Kardashian also addressed navigating her children’s growing interest in the spotlight, particularly North’s music career. She said she sometimes has to “hold her back” from opportunities and revealed that this is one area where she and West have stronger communication. Kardashian explained, “We make sure we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve.”

The mom of four has previously acknowledged that her resources don’t necessarily eliminate the challenges of parenting. During a 2024 podcast appearance, Kardashian said she has a “great support system” but still sometimes feels alone while raising her children, noting that she tends not to discuss those struggles publicly because people immediately point to her ability to afford nannies and additional help.
