Should They Drop? Lil Wayne Confirms He & Drake Have A Vault Full Of Unreleased Music Dating Back Over A Decade
#LilWayne says he and Drake are sitting on a serious stash of unreleased music.
During a recent appearance on “The Joint Venture Show,” Weezy confirmed the rumors about their vault are “beyond true,” revealing they have “a whole bunch of unreleased material” dating back to 2014 and 2015. “Like, really unheard stuff,” he added.
And Wayne apparently hasn’t forgotten about those records. He said he regularly digs through old files, sometimes reworking the songs before sending updated versions to Drake. “When I’m doing nothing, I edit that stuff up and just send it to [Drake’s] phone so he can hear the new versions of it and get him going,” Wayne explained. According to the “A Mili” rapper, #Drake’s response is often pretty straightforward: “When we dropping this?”
Now, whether any of those decade-old gems will actually see the light of day remains to be seen.

The idea that Lil Wayne and Drake have unreleased material dating back to 2014 and 2015 is especially intriguing, particularly since Wayne still revisits the old files and sends updated versions to Drake. That kind of music-industry story and celebrity news is also something I enjoy following on RippleMagazine
Lil Wayne saying he still goes back through the old files and reworks songs before sending updated versions to Drake makes the idea of a decade-old vault even more interesting. I’d be curious to hear how those 2014–2015 recordings sound after all these years, and music stories like this are the kind of entertainment coverage I enjoy finding on Magazinequill
