DDG Predicts ‘High Level’ Streamers Will Keep Winning In 2027 While ‘A Lot Of People Fizzle Out’

DDG Predicts ‘High Level’ Streamers Will Keep
Winning In 2027 While ‘A Lot Of People Fizzle Out’
DDG believes some of today’s streamers could lose their momentum in 2027, even as streaming itself continues to thrive.
During his interview with Bootleg Kev, the rapper and content creator discussed where the industry is headed and why everyone joining the wave might not stick around.
“Middle summer 2027, end of 2027, it’s just gonna be the n***as that’s already doing it at a high level, that’s really doing it right, because a lot of people fizzle out.”
DDG pushed back against the idea that streaming is approaching its end. Instead, he suggested the space is experiencing a high point as more people gain access to equipment and try their hand at creating live content.
His prediction centers on staying power. While entering the space has become easier, DDG expects creators already delivering at a high level to remain standing as others struggle to keep their momentum going into the future.
Do you think the streaming bubble will burst?
