Ex Reality Star Royce Reed Pleads With Son’s Father Dwight Howard: ‘Hoping & Praying Braylon Is Okay’
Desperate times, call for desperate measures. Former Basketball Wives (Miami) reality star, Royce Reed, is concerned about the well being of her son, Braylon. Royce shares a son with NBA baller, Dwight Howard. Currently their son is with Dwight and according to reports, she hasn’t been able to get in contact with neither (son or baby daddy). So what’s the big deal? Royce says it’s imperative that their son take his medication. Early Sunday morning, she pleaded and lashed out on twitter to all parties involved:
@DwightHoward fact that you think it’s funny 2deny my legal rights 2speak 2Braylon is sad. Ignoring all my calls/emails/texts & cuttin his ipad off? maybe now you’ll respond…I want to speak to Braylon.
She also chastised rumored fiance and the mother of Dwight’s new infant child, Christine Vest, who is also apparently with both Dwight and Braylon:
@Christine_Vest as a new ‘Christian’ mother who is w/ Braylon wherever y’all are u know I’ve been asking 2speak 2him. Please let me talk to him.
She continued:
I figured I’d try Twitter & see if I got a response since calls/texts/emails, family & attorneys don’t work…I’ll wait. Hoping & praying Braylon has received/taking his medication & that he’s ok. He is not in danger u know that…plus he hasnt been on his ipad because it isnt charged…when he skyped u a few days ago it was bcuz my mom let him use her iphone charger. Ill charge it 4 him 2nite ok? Hes ok.

I don’t fault Royce for being a mom. I don’t necessarily say its messy. I am sure as much as she post of her and Braylon. They are very close. And I would think when she is not with him. She talks to him regularly. So if the father is not responding…what do you do? According to other reports, he wasn’t responding to her parents either. She said she doesn’t have a problem with him being with his dad. But not to refill a prescription and not responding is a big “No No”. He could have easily sent a text or called and put Braylon on the phone. You see it didn’t take much for the girlfriend to respond — that was probably right up her alley to make it seem as if she was blowing things out of proportion. sheesh! As a mom, I feel her anguish in dealing with a father who chooses not to communicate.
I don’t understand this ‘blast your private life on social media craze.’ What would the option be without social media? I can say I can truly understand her anxiety, as a single mother I know the muscles around her heart were tight and I truly hope their co-parenting imoroves.
I gotta say this tho, she on social media fighting Chris Bosh’s ex battle when she should obviously be tending to her own kitchen. I know they share that comkon ground but support eachother without blast ex on social media. MyOwnOpinion&Observation

I don’t think its cool for her to put it out there on blast but can you blame her if no one is responding? I know I would if I couldn’t reach my child, especially with her concerns about his medication. Even though Dwight & his wife are probably on top of Braylon’s situation, a Mom needs that reassurance. So at least she got a response. They should’ve let the boy use somebody’s phone/computer or something. That is ridiculous! Sometimes I think these men want the woman to “look” crazy…he probably knew she would go off on a rant! smh
Royce has ALWAYS been extra…she stays doing the most. I don’t fault her for being a concerned mom, but why put your business out there on twitter for people to see. She looks bitter and desperate. Her Point of concern for her child is moot when you attempt to make someone else look foolish or have a mere attempt to embarrass a person over and over on an account of a scapegoating situation. Just Stop it!
Im happy the girlfriend responded back!! Im sure there have been times that Dwight has tried to call his son and hasnt been able to get in contact with him, but he didnt blast Royce on twitter. Let that man spend uninterrupted time with his son

Now if the roles were reversed and she withheld contact from Dwight talking to his son in 2 days everyone would be up in arms. And why should she take the word of the new chic??? Bottom line is, she should be able to reach her son anytime of anyday. With all the technology that we have, there is no excuse for it. She did what she had to do.
I agree. She should be able to reach her son anytime. Only thing I must say, is that baby moms should be respectful of the household’s structure – like don’t call when the child is sleeping, or during dinner time. Things like that.
