In honor of ‘Domestic Violence Awareness Month‘ celebs are sharing their personal story about an issue that quietly affects a number of women across the world.
Over the weekend, Jacqueline Rowe held her 2nd annual ‘Face My Abuse’ Domestic Violence Community Awareness Walk for A Cause. Hosted by Erica Mena (Love & Hip Hop), the event took place in Brooklyn and included personal testimonials from Carol Maraj (mother of pop star Nicki Minaj), Tashera Simmons (ex-wife of rapper DMX), Teri Woods

I attended this event and it was great. All of the guest speakers told powerful stories of struggle and perseverance like Author A. Adams Jones and Erica Mena.
I saw a couple of vendors with books and information and I picked up a book from on of the vendors tables called the Miseducation of a Hustler ….and that book is FIRE!
