[INTERVIEW] Brooke Bailey On Leaving ‘Basketball Wives LA’, Starting Fresh & Her Biggest Fear
Brooke Bailey shows up flawless. Even for an interview at Runyon Canyon, a popular Hollywood hiking trail. She arrives for our interview, all smiles, with two of her adorable teenage cousins. No entourage as some would expect an ex reality star, whose quite popular in Cali. Hair pulled back, with little make-up she’s rocking bright-colored, form-fitting workout gear.
“I love the outdoors so this is the perfect setting”, she says.
Ultimately, most of her discovered her on Basketball Wives LA, dating her then NBA baller boyfriend, Vernon Macklin.
He was 10 years younger than me. It was just like ‘Alright, this is fun’. I am not in a serious relationship but it was good TV too because how many pumas go on TV showing them dating younger guys? I went through that phase for a minute and then I quickly got over it.
But even before that, she was on E! reality show, Candy Girls, a series centered on a talent agency that provided female models for music videos, magazine shoots, and upscale parties. Fast forward to the present day and the mother of two has turned a new chapter in he life, but not before revealing what ended her Basketball Wives LA stint, he latest higher learning venture and what’s next for this Cali-bred beauty.
