[EXCLUSIVE] Love & Hip Hop’s Erica Jean Says ‘Fix My Life’ Made Co-Parenting With Saigon EXTREMELY Worse: He Hasn’t Seen His Son In Months!
Most of us were introduced to Erica Jean and rapper Saigon (real name Brian Carenard) on Love & Hip Hop (NY). Last season, the pair weren’t necessarily in love, but attempted to co-parent their young son. While the VH1 reality TV cameras have stopped rolling, they still are faced with co-parenting challenges.
Recently, Erica and Saigon sought help from life coach and author, Iyanla Vanzant. Iyanla is no stranger to helping troubled celebrities and attempted to do so on OWN’s Iyanla: Fix My Life.
Unfortunately, by the end of the 60 minute segment, it didn’t appear that much progress had been made.
theJasmineBRAND.com chatted with Erica Jean immediately after the episode aired. During our conversation, she revealed what the viewers didn’t see on the show and why the show didn’t help their situation. She also reveals alleges that Saigon doesn’t pay child support, hasn’t seen their son since the show aired and whether or not she’ll be returning to Love & Hip Hop (NY).
Check out the full conversation below.

So that’s kind of how it started.
theJasmineBRAND: What didn’t viewers see?
Erica Jean: No, viewers didn’t see that I did a whole interview of the things that happened between
