R&B Divas LA’s Chante Moore On: Cast Drama, Kelly Price & Controversial ‘Ladies Anthem’
The second season of R&B Divas LA is underway, and with only a few episodes end, the popular TV One show is drawing entertainment and drama. After this week’s episode, theJasmineBRAND.com Live Tweeted with R&B Diva Chanté Moore, using the #AskChante hashtag.
It’s the second season for the talented artist, but she’s in the thick of tension with newbies Chrisette Michele and a few returning cast members. What triggered the drama with the ‘Ladies Anthem’ and what about the questionable contract they received? Did she purposely leave other cast members out of the song? Has she spoken to Kelly Price? Is she beefing with Lil Mo? Will she return to the show? Check out our conversation.
theJasmineBRAND.com: How did you feel after watching tonight’s episode?
Chanté Moore: I feel nothing! It was WAAAY too much drama 4 me!
theJasmineBRAND.com: Let’s talk about the Ladies Anthem. Initially, what was your intention in asking the ladies to join the song?
Chanté Moore: The verses were written already and I wanted them to sing the chorus first, then ad lib. They got offended… They didn’t show it, but the ladies added their own flavor to it and the ladies did what I asked them to do! Too bad nobody will ever hear what they did. It was great!
theJasmineBRAND.com: Did you plan to give them song credit?
Chanté Moore: I took them off the song. If they had written the song, yes, they would have a writer’s credit.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Why didn’t you ask Claudette or Michel’le to join you on the track?

Never tear someone down without lifting them up…with that being said..I believe Shante’ Moore is ONE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, however, the hair extensions are a bit interesting at times..Just sayn..
LOL! That was clever.
I liked Change last season.I’m not feeling her this season. Some of those questions she was asked, she didn’t answer honestly.I seen that episode and I heard her say we’re not friends.Unless, the part about business first was edited out or she’s lying.
I’ll be coming back fot more Jasmine. I haven’t been keeping up on this.
Wow! Initially, Chante’ was my absolute FAV but this season, she has…changed. Idk if it is editing, her need to be the vilan this season or the fact that this is really who she is…either way, it is sort of disheartening. We only see what they project to us; we’re not in their house or chilling at the club with them but some things you put out, you cant take back…i.e. Kelly Price & Dawn Robinson smh
Karma for chante. Kelley was a b but chante was too. She’s a smiling face that tell lies. She’s not innocent
I am going to start recording this show. I only seen the first episode.
Chante’s management tried it with that unprofessional email. She also tried it with that unprofessional request. She wanted to use those vocals and their names and not give them writing credit if the “Ladies Anthem” became a hit. You tried it Chante and it backfired!
Chante needs to take that mop off her head sheesh. Tv1 must be paying them minimum wage? Because her hair should be laid. On the side it looks like hair paint or something. Chante needs to shave it all off or get a wig.
