[Photos] Christian Siriano Presents At New York Fashion Week + Jada Pinkett Smith, Uzo Aduba Attend
Project Runway alum Christian Siriano highlighted his artsy side for his Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The line was inspired by glass sculptures of Australian artist Sergio Redegalli and his work with light and reflection. Influences from Brooklyn artist Tara Donovan and his own work with the transparency and light, Siriano playfully transitioned from green, white and navy with hues of each in between.
Noticeably the designer added a bit more sportswear being careful not to neglect evening wear, eloquently mixing romance and structure using materials like organza, jacquard, silk and raffia.
Standout pieces include a sheer beaded top and pants and navy crew neck paired with a large full skirt.
Orange Is the New Black’s Uzo Aduba and Jada Pinkett-Smith were in attendance.
Peep looks from the collection on the next page.
