Diddy Forbids Adopted Son Quincy to Appear on ‘Empire’
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is taking serious issue with Empire, banning his adopted son, Quincy (23), from appearing on one of the more popular shows on TV.
Apparently, Quincy (who is an aspiring singer) was scheduled to make an appearance on the show. However, Diddy pulled the plug, after falling out with 20th Century Fox TV over music rights.
Sources tell Page Six, that Quincy was guaranteed a role on the show. So what’s the issue? Diddy was reportedly livid when he learned that his son would have to sign over a portion of his music rights in relation to the show to Fox.
[FYI: Stars on the show are subject to similar music contracts as those on other shows like “American Idol.” “Empire” features a score curated by Timbaland and includes original songs that are sold on iTunes and Spotify.]
