Meagan Good Lands ‘Minority Report’ Lead + Bresha Webb, Lance Gross, Laverne Cox, and Vanessa Williams Snag Pilots
Congratulations are in order for some of your favorite black actors and actresses. Meagan Good, Larenz Tate, Vanessa Williams, Laverne Cox, Bresha Webb, and actor Lance Gross have landed new pilots.
Actress Meagan Good has landed the female lead for Fox’s drama pilot Minority Report. The show is reportedly a sequel to the Steven Spielberg directed movie. The pilot is described as,
One of the three Precogs, Dash, struggles to lead a “normal” human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future, when he meets a detective, Lara Vega (Good), who’s not afraid to break a few rules. Haunted by her past, Vega just might help him find a purpose to his gift.
Actress Bresha Webb, who also starred on the hit TV One show, Love That Girl”as Imunique Jefferson, recently earned a spot on People Are Talking. Written by DJ Nash and produced by Universal TV and Will Packer Prods., Bresha plays the lead opposite Tone Bell. Reportedly, the series is about a white and a black couple and the drama and entertainment they face together.

Actor/photographer Lance Gross has landed a NBC pilot called Warrior. According to The Urban Daily, he plays a former Navy Seal named Golden. The show also co-stars Natalie Martinez as Kai Forrester who is described as a damaged heroine who works undercover with physical and spiritual guidance from a mysterious martial arts master to bring down the organized crime group YOMI.
