National Action Network Celebrates ‘Keepers of the Dream’ Dinner: Lee Daniels, Jussie Smollett, Anthony Anderson, Judge Mathis Attend [Photos]
This week, the National Action Network hosted it’s annual Keepers of the Dream Dinner. [The National Action Network is a not-for-profit, civil rights organization founded by the Reverend Al Sharpton in New York City, New York, in early 1991.]
The event was held at the Sheraton Times Square Hotel in New York City. Celebrity guests and notables included Rev. Al Sharpton, Lee Daniels (who received the Humanitarian Award), Gayle King, Anthony Anderson, Jussie Smollett, Martin Luther King III, Danny Strong, Gabourey Sidibe, Yara Shahidi, Judge Mathis and others.
