Wale Visits Baltimore High School: Talks to Students About Protests & Pursuing Their Passion [VIDEO]
While we’ve certainly seen and heard the negativity surrounding the Baltimore protests, there’s some positive light that continues to shine.
As you know, parts of Baltimore city have been under the spotlight, with peaceful and violent protests erupting from the death of Freddie Gray. [As previously reported, the 25-year-old died in police custody 15 days ago after he was arrested on a weapons charge. His death was reportedly from a severe spinal chord injury and sparked widespread outrage toward the Baltimore Police Department.]
Many celebrities and famous folk have spoken out, chastising some of it’s residents from resorting to violence.
On Wednesday, Wale (real name Olubowale Victor Akintimehin) surprised a local Baltimore High School, paying them a visit amidst the controversy.
