Judge Denies WNBA Baller Brittney Griner’s Request to Annul Marriage
Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson are to remain married, for now. This week, a judge requested the WNB Ballers request to annul their marriage. Brittney — who plays for the Phoenix Mercury — had submitted the request, after the pair had been married for only 28 days. Glory is pregnant with twins, but took off from playing for the Tulsa Shock.

The court decision effectively enforces Griner’s position as the couple’s breadwinner, since Johnson has taken a year off from the court to carry twins – a pregnancy that Johnson, who plays for the Tulsa Shock, announced on June 4, one day before Griner filed to annul the 28-day marriage.
