‘Murder in the First’, Starring Taye Diggs, Renewed for Season 3
TNT has renewed their summer hit drama Murder in the First for a third season, spanning 10 episodes. Earlier this week, the Hollywood Reporter broke the news and actor, Taye Diggs who stars in the show confirmed the news via Twitter. Diggs and his co-star Kathleen Robertson will return as San Francisco Police Detectives, Terry English and Hildy Mulligan. Murder in the First takes viewers on a season long journey into a homicide investigation.
The cop drama executive produced by Steven Bocho and Eric Lodal recently wrapped its second season in August with an episode that captured 1.8 million viewers.
TNT has also renewed Rizzoli & Isles, The Last Ship, Major Crimes, Legends, The Librarians, Public Morals and Agent X.
No exact premiere date has been provided but Season 3 will debut in 2016.
