Deuces! Find Out Why Shemar Moore is Leaving ‘Criminal Minds’
It’s time to say good-bye to Shemar Moore — at least from the show, Criminal Minds. After 11 seasons, the 45-year-old actor who recently made headlines for proclaiming his non-gayness on social media, is leaving the show.
He tells TVLine that he wants to
walk my dogs, travel, get married, have kids. I want balance, and it’s hard to do with the schedule that we have.
Of throwing up the deuces, he shares with The Hollywood Reporter,
It’s a weird experience. I just spent 11 years with a group of people and it’s a weird thing to walk away from—but I did it on my terms and in the right way.
Shemar has played FBI special agent Derek Morgan. Prior to Criminal Minds, one of his more notable roles is of Malcolm Winters on The Young and the Restless from 1994 to 2005.
