BRAVO wants NeNe Leakes, BAD. So much so that they’ve increased what she’s paid. NeNe, who is the only original cast member from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, is has been offered $2.5 million to return next season, according to Radar Online. An insider tells the source,

NeNe is always a ratings plus for the show. And the producers want to make sure the show stays strong. The reason it stays strong is NeNe, so they’re throwing money at her.

Kim [Fields] was not good. The show needed NeNe to make her interesting, and they know that.

Last season, NeNe was not an official cast member, but came mid-season as a regular to the show.

Reportedly, Bravo execs want to ensure that Leakes continues to be a part of the show, because their new casting didn’t pan out this season. A source states,
