Rapper Troy Ave Will NOT Be Charged In Shooting Death Of Ronald “Banga” McPhatter
According to multiple reports, a jury has decided not to indict Troy Ave (real name Roland Collins). As previously reported, his friend and bodyguard Ronald “B$B Banga” McPhatter was killed during a May 25th shooting at New York City’s Irving Plaza.
Reportedly, the ballistics testing proved that the bullets that killed McPhatter did not come from the weapon that was fired by Troy Ave. However, Troy still faces charges of attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Troy’s lawyer, Scott Leemon says that he plans to request that Troy be released on bail at his next hearing, which is slated for later this week. [VIBE]
