(EXCLUSIVE) The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy Demands $10 Mill Lawsuit By Rival DJ Be Thrown Out

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, DJ Envy has headed to court in the $10 million dollar lawsuit filed by a rival DJ – in which the man sued The Breakfast Club host over an interview where rapper The Game threatened to break his jaw. Envy is demanding the lawsuit be thrown out.

Here’s the latest: On June 15th, DJ Envy and iHeart Media headed to court over the lawsuit. They explain that DJ Star’s name was never mentioned during their interview with The Game. The only time it was spoken, was when it was bleeped out before it went to air.

Envy and the company say that the rapper’s comments don’t even come close to being extreme & outrageous and say The Game’s comments aren’t enough for him to win in court.

Further, Envy says the only time he contributed to the conversation was to name Star but it was later edited.

The Breakfast Club host and the company behind the show are demanding the entire $10 million dollar lawsuit be thrown out and the man awarded nothing.

Here’s the backstory: Earlier this year, DJ Star – real name Troi Torain – filed a $10 million dollar lawsuit against The Game & The Breakfast Club radio show.

He accused The Game of defaming him and threatening him during a interview on the radio show. During the sit down, the rapper said he would break Star’s jaw due to a beef DJ Envy – who is one of the hosts of The Breakfast Club – had with him for years. He demanded $10 million in damages for the comments the rapper made.

DJ Star then allegedly filed a police report with the New York police department against The Game. Then following his suit against the rapper, the DJ slapped DJ Envy & iHeart Media and Revolt Media (the companies behind the hit radio show). The suit explained that The Game made false, derogatory and physically threatening statements on the show and was initiated and encouraged by DJ Envy.

He says the duo used his name for the purpose of advertising and without his consent. The DJ accuses the radio show of invading his privacy and due to the comments made on the broadcast he has suffered emotional distress, mental anguish and embarrassment.

DJ Star filed suit for gross negligence and demanded $10 million dollars from Envy and the companies behind The Breakfast Club.
