Lil Wayne Records for “MTV’s Unplugged”
Thursday night, at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, Lil Wayne recorded for “MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged” series. In front of some of Lil Wayne’s biggest fans, Weezy rocked a sweatshirt word “WOW” emblazoned on the front, but later stripped (well, not exactly) to a white t-shirt and tank. At one point during his performance, Weezy noticed that his zipper was down. He jokingly asked, “Why didn’t someone tell me my fly was down?!” CNN, who attended the taping, noted that Wayne covered Tupac’s “Hail Mary” and “Nightmares at the Bottom.” The show will premiere June 12 on MTV2, MTV and MTV.com at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
