Nick Gordon ‘In A Dark Place’ Since Being Found Legally Responsible For Bobbi Kristina’s Death
Nick Gordon ‘In A Dark Place’
26-year-old Nick Gordon has maintained a relatively low-profile, after being found legally responsible by default for the death of his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown. According to a new report, he is still very much mourning her death, spending much of his time ‘watching TV’. A source says,
He’s not doing well at all. He is low energy, just really unhappy. He knew that it was a big deal for him to appear in court, but he just couldn’t do it. So he skipped it and the judgement was entered against him. He’s just in a dark place.
Last month, Nick did not show up for two hearings for the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s estate. Because of this, he was found legally responsible “by default” for her death and held in contempt.
Reportedly, the judge did not reach the judgment by considering the facts of the case. Ultimately, he was found liable for Bobbi Kristina’s death because he failed to respond or appear in court for his civil hearings.
An insider says that,
He doesn’t have that type of cash, so you can’t get blood from a stone. But it bothers him that there’s this perception that he is responsible for her death, because he’s not. He feels like everyone has made him a scapegoat, and it’s not fair.
Meanwhile, the criminal investigation is reportedly still ongoing.
On January 31, 2015, Nick and a friend found Bobbi Kristina face down in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Doctors placed her in a medically induced coma after determining her brain function was “significantly diminished”, and her family was told any meaningful recovery would be “a miracle”. She died in hospice care on July 26, 2015, at the age of 22.
