50 Cent To Star In “Den of Thieves”
Days after announcing he was throwing up the deuces to Power, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson has booked a new role. Jackson will star in STX Entertainment’s thriller “Den of Thieves” alongside “300” actor Gerard Butler. According to reports,
Den of Thieves follows the intersecting and often personally connected lives of an elite unit of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew as they plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank of downtown Los Angeles. Jackson, whose film credits include Spy and Southpaw, will play the character Enson, who is part of the gang of what will be an ensemble cast of characters. Butler plays a corrupt cop named ‘Big Nick’ Flanagan.
As mentioned earlier this week, 50 took to Instagram to announce his departure from the hit Starz series, after the show didn’t receive any Golden Globes nominations posting,
I’m on the move again, Golden globe’s can suck a d*ck. I accept my series POWER was not intended to be a signature show for the network but it is the highest rated show. I know my audience very well, I’m done promoting this out side of contractual obligations. SEASON 4 KANAN MUST DIE, I got other shit to do. #EFFENVODKA

Power has been a rating success for the network which also stars Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora and Lela Loren.
The third season premiere set a record with over two million viewers and was quickly renewed for two more seasons. He also added that boxer and friend Floyd Mayweather will replace him for season four.
He is also working on the superhero action series Tomorrow, Today with Starz based on a screenplay he wrote. Filming is scheduled to begin on “Den of Thieves” in Atlanta in early January.
