Safaree: I need to be compensated by Nicki Minaj.
Safaree Samuels is making it crystal clear – he would like to be compensated for the musical work that he did with Nicki Minaj. Today, he appeared on the Wendy Williams Show saying that he would like to be properly compensated.
When asked by Wendy for a specific figure, he remained silent, but did say that while they were together, everything that she did was a collaboration with him. Safaree also discussed the couple’s split, rumors that she’s had cosmetic work done to her body and how Nicki’s camp attempted to stop his appearance on the show.
Check out the excerpts below.
On what caused their relationship to end:
The last year, year and a half, it just got really different. We just grew apart and at the end of the day, Meek, he had a lot to do with it, with me and her breaking up.
On if he cheated on Nicki:
I’m not an angel. I’m not a saint, you know, and at the end of the day I wasn’t 100% happy and I already, mentally, was on my way out.
If Nicki had cosmetic work done:
It’s 2017. If you’re a woman and you want to feel better about yourself. If you had a baby and your breast sag. Or you wanna make your hips look big or whatever…You can do whatever you want to do, it’s your body.
If he wants to get back with Nicki:
Nah, not at all.
How Nicki may feel about the interview.
They tried to stop it, so.
If there’s anything that he’d like to say to Nicki:
Do what’s right. That’s it. You know what I did.
