Steve Harvey New Talk Show Will Feel Like Late Night
Steve Harvey Talk Show Will Feel Like Late Night
In a few weeks, Steve Harvey will premiere the new version of his talk show “Steve”. This year, the comedian moved from Chicago to Los Angeles to focus more on celebrity and comedy. The new show will premiere on September 5th and is produced by IMG-WME and distributed by NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution. Harvey explained what viewers can expect, stating:
I created a concept with [Executive Producer] Shane [Farley]. I wanted to bring late night TV to daytime. I think that’s what’s missing. After doing daytime for five years, no one watches daytime for takeaway anymore.
He continued,
They need to just laugh in the middle of the day, I’ve been restricted on that in the past five years. People need to have a place to go to laugh instead of waiting until 11 p.m. at night.
In other Harvey news, he will appear on OPRAH’S MASTER CLASS, September 2nd. He will discuss his journey to success, sharing the highs and many lows – including years of homelessness – that ultimately paved his road to stardom.
