Trevante Rhodes & Lil Rel Howery Cast In Netflix’s ‘Birdbox’

Additional cast members have been announced for Netflix’s “Bird Box.” “Moonlight” breakout star Trevante Rhodes and The Carmichael Show co-star Lil Rel Howery will join the ensemble cast along with Danielle Macdonald, Jacki Weaver, Sarah Paulson, Rosa Salazar and Sandra Bullock, who will star in the film. John Malkovich is also on board.

The project, which is directed by Susanne Bier,  follows a woman and a pair of children who are blindfolded, and make their way through a post-apocalyptic setting along a river.

It is unknown which character each actor will be playing.
