James Packer Says Dating Mariah Carey Was A Mistake
James Packer is opening up about his relationship with Mariah Carey. The 50-year-old billionaire businessman says about dating the singer,
I was at a low point in my personal life. She was kind, exciting and fun. Mariah is a woman of substance. But it was a mistake for her and a mistake for me.
Carey and Packer began dating in 2015. They called off their nine month engagement in October 2016. It was reported that Mariah was “blindsided” by their split, as Packer reportedly ended things while they were vacationing in Greece, as their wedding plans were already underway. At the time, a source stated,
Mariah knew they were having problems, but all relationships have issues — it wasn’t the kind of thing where she thought she’d read in the paper that she got dumped. She was devastated; she was shocked.
Mariah has since moved on and is dating her back-up dancer, Bryan Tanaka.
