Uzo Aduba To Star ‘Miss Virginia’
Uzo Aduba has snagged the lead in independent drama “Miss Virginia.” Inspired by a true story, “Miss Virginia” follows a struggling inner-city single mother who moves her at-risk son from their dangerous neighborhood school to an expensive one in a safe area.
The film will be directed by R.J. Daniel Hanna with production beginning early next year in Los Angeles. Aduba is best known for the role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren in the Netflix series “Orange Is the New Black.” Up next, she will star in the upcoming indie “Candy Jar”.
